How was your week? I’ve been working, and reading, and reading and working (sung to the tune of Wishin’ And Hopin’ by Dusty Springfield). And that’s about it, as you will see below. I’ve also been thinking about writing devotionals but I’m not sure yet. I’ve written Bible studies but a devotional is very different. I’m not sure that devotionals lend themselves to my wry sense of humor.

When I went back and looked at my notes, I read more then I thought this week. I finished The Novel Adventures of Natalie Daughtry, Small Town Harmony and An Overdue Match. I guess the extra day off did help. Tomorrow I plan to pick up His Perfect Bride. Since I took a day off this week, I’m also hoping to read The Peacemaker.

My favorite magazine, Everyday Faith, just released. I just ordered my copy so I don’t have it yet but I didn’t want to wait to say something. Here is the description:
Welcome to the Spring 2025 edition of Everyday Faith! From cover to cover, you will find stories and articles that inspire hope and encouragement. You’ll be reminded that no matter what you are facing and no matter what life brings your way, God is making all things new. You will find tips on how to create a peaceful home and how to study the Bible, anecdotes about persevering through difficult times, and stories of Easter traditions. You will find firsthand accounts of faith and comfort, and you will find truth from God’s Word. We hope this issue helps you know and share God’s love in fresh, authentic, and inspiring ways!
Tell me something good.
