I didn’t think it would happen. I never pictured myself as this person. And I thought that if it ever did happen, I would do it in secret, hiding the evidence like a thief in the night. But here I am, doing it and telling everyone: I read audiobooks. Yes, it’s true. There are so many books by my favorite authors that I’ve read in the past and want to review on the blog, but I don’t have time to reread them the traditional way. Now, I am rereading while on my walks and while knitting.
I still can’t read at work—I need total silence—nor do I think I am ready to read audiobooks that are fresh and new, but it’s a start. The only problem is, now I’m reading faster than I can write reviews. There are only so many hours in the day, and I really, really like my sleep.

This weekend is a quiet, “get caught up on blogging and reading” type of weekend. Therefore, I’m going to play a game called “Does my sister and best friend (the same person) read my blog?” If she does, she’ll call me when she sees this. I’ll let y’all know next week if I got the call because of this post or just because I’m the best big sister in the world.

11/05/2024 Ten Amish Romances with Barns on the Cover: One would think finding ten Amish books with barns on the cover would be easy—until you try it. With the added challenge of not repeating authors, I nearly settled for “Ten Books with Words on the Cover.” So, why barns, and what made the final list? Read to find out.
11/7/2024 Book Review: Their Inseparable Bond by Jill Weatherholt: This is a great small town romance read. I received this one through BookSirens and while it’s a four star, I don’t know if I’ll get anymore from there. I really prefer NetGalley and working with JustRead! Publicity Tours.
11/8/2024 Book Review: Sisters by the Sea: This is my first audiobook reread. This is such a great book of novella’s all written by a Brunstetter but the books all go together. I love this one. So good!
11/10/2024 The Sunday Post: this is the only blog post that I send out via email. If you want to make sue you see what is going on with the blog, then be sure to subscribe.
New Arrivals

Taken at Christmas byJodie Bailey. I can’t resist a Love Inspired Suspense. The author is new to me. I’m looking forward to a new voice.
So Into You by Kathleen Fuller. Fuller is a favorite author of mine. I usually read her Amish romances. I’m looking forward to reading something more contemporary by her.
