The Sunday Post #16: Quarantined

I’ve been trying to take photos each week to provide a little glimpse of my life but this week, I’ve got nothing. Instead I’m just putting up some pictures of my cats from December. It’s really weird that I didn’t even take pictures of them this week. The calico is Lilly (12 years old) and the leopard/tiger stripe fella is Jeffrey (14 years old).

I stay holed up in this house, working, reading, knitting, crocheting, etc. One more week of self-imposed quarantine before the surgery. Luckily for me, I have fictional friends to keep me company. Currently reading: With This Ring by Amy Clipston.

I think quarantine would be fun, for awhile. But I also love to travel. Right now staying home, reading, knitting, etc sounds like more fun with the cold weather we are having. Happy New Year!

Love the cat pictures! They’re cuties! Quarantine is almost over, once the surgery is done, it will be nice! Although I’m guessing you’ll still need to be careful for a bit after that. Here’s hoping it’s a good week other than that!

Thank you! They are precious and spoiled. After surgery I don’t go back to the doctor until the 28th and I can’t drive or really do anything until then. The good news is that winter will almost be over when I can go out again. LOL

I’m sure the quarantine is wearing thin but it’s a smart thing! Your Kitty’s look content to be at home too.

Wishing you a happy reading week

It is wearing a little thin. The other day I wanted to get my hair trimmed and then remembered that there’s no way I could let someone that close to me. The kitty’s are always content because they’re spoiled rotten.

Welcome to Carla’s Book Crush where I share my favorite clean, Christian reads. I review everything from Amish and historical romance to suspense, contemporary fiction, nonfiction, and the occasional devotional. If it has heart, hope, and a message that points back to Christ, it’s probably on my shelf. I also love chatting with authors and featuring interviews that give you a peek behind the pages. Whether you’re looking for a new release, a cozy weekend read, or just something uplifting and well-written, you’re in the right place. Clean stories. Encouraging faith. Books worth reading.
