This is a short but sweet read. I think that the length of the book kept it from being more than three stars. At only 70 pages long, it was hard to get really into the book because the scene couldn’t be set outside of an office. Additionally, a few things that didn’t make sense would have been better explained if there was more to this novella. For example, the characters reference the relationship taking “so long” to transpire when it was only a week or so from the first kiss. However, the writing was good and it was a fun quick read. I think that Tate has the talent to do something longer.
