I have had such a fun time since I started this blog and started tracking and reviewing my reading. Due to the short time frame, you may feel like you just read about this book on the blog so I’ve taken a short quick approach to tell you why this book made the list. I hope everyone has a wonderful, and safe, New Years!

A Is for Amish by Shelley Shepard Gray

Review
If you haven’t figured it out already, I’m a huge Shelley Shepard Gray fan. I picked this one up at the store and it made me hungry for me. I didn’t put B is for Bonnet (review) on this list but just know that it is every bit as amazing. I am very anxious about having to wait until October for C is for courting to be released.

Christmas at Spruce Hill Farm by Kathryn Springer

This book was all types of holiday wonderful. I liked that it included romances of different generations. Also, the fact that it was about a writer and a writers assistant was so fun. Books that incorporate the types of professions we dream about are so good.

Crazy for You by Marnie Vinge

Review
I bet you weren’t expecting to see a book described as a “a gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist” with zero romance on this list. Or on the blog for that matter. Honestly, this is the book that I think about the most. It was everything described and I had absolutely no clue how things were going to end. It literally was shocking. I could reread this again and still be baffled at the ending.

The Protector by Wanda E. Brunstetter

Review
Despite her almost cult like following and my deep love of Amish romance, Brunstetter is not a go to author for me. However, I did love this book. Romance is not the main focus in this one, although it is there is mystery and intrigue in this one. The case for Rosa Petersheim who has vanished without a trace is still pending in the end. I can’t wait for book 2.

Fa-La-La-La Faking It by Teri Wilson

Review
When someone asks what my favorite book is for 2024, I go back and forth between three different books. Since the other two aren’t holiday reads, we can say without doubt that this was my favorite holiday romance. Teri even featured my Bookstagram review in her newsletter! So fun.

Hunted for the Holidays by Deena Alexander

Review
This was just a wonderful romantic suspense. It is literally non-stop action. It has a single mother, secret child trope that you don’t usually expect in romances centered around faith. I like it when things aren’t perfect and there is a little mess. It’s more realistic and down to earth. Although, being in the witness protection program is not an everyday occurrence for most of us.

A Stolen Kiss by Mindy Steele

Review
What a sweet Amish romance! The stolen kiss led to all types of trouble in this ultra conservative Amish group. And the fact that LeEtta Miller, who had never been kissed before did the steeling made the book even more sweet and fun.

So Into You by Kathleen Fuller

If you haven’t figured out by now that I absolutely love this book then you have not read any of my posts or been on Instagram at all. More people than I ever would have imagined have put So Into You on their TBR because of my constant chatter about it. It may just be to shut me up but I don’t think Kathleen Fuller cares about the specific reason is for reading her book is.

Amish Sleigh Bells by Patricia Johns

Review
Maybe it’s because I met my husband at work that I love and appreciate this one so much. This isn’t exactly a workplace romance but pretty close for an Amish read. I adored the way the characters grew together. Also, the bad girl in me just loves a forbidden romance. It reminds me of the time my Grandma called my house and my husband (then boyfriend) answered the phone and she yelled “stay away from my baby!” into the receiver. He slammed the receiver down 90’s style and told me to call my grandma back.

Tracking the Missing by Sami A. Abrams

As a diehard cat lover, I’m shocked at how much I’ve been enjoying the K-9 Search and Rescue books. This one has been the best so far. The entire time you have no clue why Tori Campbell was attached in the woods or who took her son and his two friends. It’s a nail-biter up until the very end.
