The Sunday Post #1: Kansas City Zoo Run

Hey! How are you doing? Welcome to my first circle letter! Traditionally, a circle letter is how the Amish community stays connected. Each person in the circle writes updates about what’s happening, and those updates are added to the collection of previous letters as it makes its way around the group. Circle letters are numbered, so here we are with #1!

This weekend, my sister and I went to the Kansas City Zoo Run, a four-mile walk where we got to see animals and received a medal at the end. Yes, please! Sunday is a birthday party for my grandson Patrick, who will be turning two. We usually do this at our house because we have a playground in the backyard, but it might rain, so we’ll see if we get any outdoor time. I hope you all are having just as great a weekend as I am!

Welcome to Carla’s Book Crush where I share my favorite clean, Christian reads. I review everything from Amish and historical romance to suspense, contemporary fiction, nonfiction, and the occasional devotional. If it has heart, hope, and a message that points back to Christ, it’s probably on my shelf. I also love chatting with authors and featuring interviews that give you a peek behind the pages. Whether you’re looking for a new release, a cozy weekend read, or just something uplifting and well-written, you’re in the right place. Clean stories. Encouraging faith. Books worth reading.
